I bought 3 of the HTP Covers and I swear to God I did not see the 5.56/.223 Warning now be that as it may Cole-tac did not give me any grief and warrantied the cover they also gave me the opportunity to switch to the Corset Style and because removal would be more “difficult” I was able to change the length to allow access to the collar lock. I ran a quick 100 rounds and the corset was smoking and actually shot off. I let things cool a little and put the cover back on and it seemed to fit better I was able to tighten it more so than the first time. Cranked out another 200 rounds she smoked quite a bit then calmed down. The cover did not loosen at all and the only thing I found was the smoke appeared to be the laces as the turned to a burnt brown but did not seem to be compromised at all. This was all done on a 20″ A2 with a SilencerCo Velos LBP 5.56. I melted the HTP on an 18″ with the same can. I would recommend not to mess around a just get the Corset Cover for any 5.56/.223 or 300 Blackout
